I had that happen to me the other day. I thought it was ROM related however, it turned out that it *MAY* have been due to static electricity buildup in my pants pocket.
I usually carry my phone in its holster but this past weekend decided to carry it in my pocket and it locked up several times. Even did a flashdance to be sure but it still locked up 3 times. Quit using my pocket and no more lockups.
I had a similar problem with my mogul and it seems to happen in the cooler/dryer months.
