The CDMA versions look awkward when you compare them, because of the added GSM support. The GSM versions are easier to compare:

No it's not, it's just AT&T trying to market it. The T-Mobile is GSM, and it's called the Touch Pro2. It's also called the Touch Pro2 in Europe as well

Also, the original AT&T Tilt is not based off of the Touch Pro. It's based off of the TyTN II/Kaiser/P4550
