Your solution will be to adjust the selector top and bottom padding for both hkcu/software/microsoft/today/listview and hkcu/software/microsoft/today/menus. While your there it may be good to change the menu font size also which can be found in hklm/system/gwe/popfont and hklm/system/gwe/barfont. The key your looking for is "Ht" and a good value to start with would be between 700 and 850 depending on your taste. The "Wt" key controls the fonts thickness or boldness. 400 being standard and 700 being bold. That should make things more to your liking. Good luck and happy tweaking.
