shrinking WM6.5 menus...

Just trying some WM6.5 ROMs for my Fuze (compared with tweaked WM6.1 ROMs). I find the menus on the WM6.5 ROMs to be vertically spaced way too large for my tastes. Mighty ROM 4, for example, has the same new menuing stuff, but the vertical spacing is far more moderate.

How can I adjust the vertical spacing of the menus (so that more menu items appear) ? Some registry tweak?

thanks

Re: shrinking WM6.5 menus...

I know your frustration bro. That was my exact complaint about 6.5. Your solution will be to adjust the selector top and bottom padding for both hkcu/software/microsoft/today/listview and hkcu/software/microsoft/today/menus. While your there it may be good to change the menu font size also which can be found in hklm/system/gwe/popfont and hklm/system/gwe/barfont. The key your looking for is "Ht" and a good value to start with would be between 700 and 850 depending on your taste. The "Wt" key controls the fonts thickness or boldness. 400 being standard and 700 being bold. That should make things more to your liking. Good luck and happy tweaking.

Re: shrinking WM6.5 menus...
