Yes that is true. One thing I know that Radio Shack used to have by getting around the mail in rebates was that if anytime during the contract you changed anything then they would charge you the difference so you have to pay the mail in rebate. I do not know if Best Buy has that in the agreement or not. Read the fine print. So basically you have to keep the same plan for the entire 2 year contract. Which most people do. Sprint plans are the cheapest around plus they are losing alot of money that are taking advantage of the SERO plan so they need to make it up somewhere. ATT and Verizon are high too but they might be lower a little but there plans are alot higher.
