I wasn't worried about those either but after I installed iGuidance, it ended up at the bottom of the list, so it wasn't until then that I realized there was a problem.

For those users that are having problems with battery life, there may be some variables as to why some are having good life while others are not. From some of my observations:
First, I am currently NOT running Lumos and Maxbattery
1. Push. Weather updates, email push and other settings that make your phone hook up with a data connection will drain your battery faster. My weather update was set to every hour. I got crappy battery life from that.
2. Signal. If you are not getting a good signal, your battery will drain MUCH faster. You probably already know that but I added it for completeness. Try flashing the different radios - which do not require a hard reset - and see if your battery life improves.
3. Tweaks. Lumos and Maxbattery help and are recommended. Lots of discussion on those and threefaces goes through how to install them and DL them in his guide.
4. General use. Some days I use my phone a lot, others I don't. Some days I get bad battery life, others I dont. There is a connection there.
5. How old is your battery? Getting old, may not be holding a good charge.
6. How are you charging your battery? Running it down until the phone shuts off is not good (while some may disagree with me) I try to change batteries before I get below 25%. Also CHECK YOUR FAST CHARGE setting. Fast charge was active on my phone which IMHO, is not good. I disabled it and let mine charge nice and slowly overnight. I get much better battery life (which I why I am currently not using the tweaks).
7. Eye candy. All those annimations consume CPU cycles and make the phone work harder. Sense is designed to work on a much faster CPU but we are enjoying it on ours...it just has to work harder and will require more juice to do so.
