Thanks guys.

Agree with root though I use HTC SMS and the old MMS set up with Arcsoft, the only issue is a slight change in the server of MMS which I'll post below.
IMO its fast as hizell!!!! If you want it even faster I'd install this
Noellenchris7-in-a-row.cab
It's a cab from XDA that compresses the space between messages in email and SMS. I dont know why but it makes the system appear to run faster, esp Messaging and openin/closing files and folders. I've used it on a number of builds. I would post a link vs a cab but cant find the thread anymore. noellenchris is a member at xda, if you like the cab look him up and give 'em a fist bump please.

Since manila 2.1 I've had a problem with MMS. I'm not sure I ever even tried the arcsoft stuff. So I installed the newest ROM and tried the suggested Remove->Soft->Install from the first couple replies. After some searching I was trying to check out threeface's guide but the pdf broke.
Whenever I receive a MMS, it comes up with either the subject text they sent or the filename on the sms tab with a paper clip icon noting an attachment. I click on it and it disappears like it never existed. Until the pdf starts to work, I've got no idea where to go.

You need to first prevent the deletion by entering "http://mms.sprintpcs.com" without quotes into the IP of the server (Thanks ahuskins!) Mine was deleting until I did this. You still wont be able to view the pic in Sense. Once you get the notification you'll need to go to MS messaging and view it there. Small hassle IMO. Here is ahuskins post on how he set up messaging a different way:

Hope that helps.
