OMJ, wmdunn, or rstoyguy if you are around...

I don't have the first clue how to use this visual kitchen!!

I can tell that there seems to be 3 diff sys' in it.. 6.1, 6.5, and "6.5.1" ...

What i can't tell is how to add/remove packages/oems from it? I right clicked and deleted some packages and noticed the kitchen moved them to Packages_Deleted but don't see a way to just make them "false" rather than "true" ... also don't know how to add packages/oems??

Other questions...

Do i have to put anything in Device Id, chunk, or OS id?
Do I need to change the ROM ver. when i build a new rom?
So much to learn about this kitchen after I got pretty good at modding and changing sys' in the ppck

I have searched for a good basic tutorial on how to use this kitchen with no luck... any help would be really appreciated!!

I'm downloading your new Sense UI 1920 one right now and about to flash it though ... but you know me, i still want to be able to make my own too!

Thanks

You can get a guide by scrosler here. The first steps are specific to his kitchen, but once you get the ervius visual kitchen open, it's the same thing. There are also tutorials at www.everythingdiamond.info in the Chefs Corner forum. You cannot remove OEM's. You can deselect SYS components and EXT packages. If you want to remove something from OEM, you have to move/delete it from the OEM folder in the kitchen.
