I don't think it's possible to take a picture of the barcode (a least not with most camera phones). I have tried tried writing an similar app before and it would allways read the bar codes wrong becuase of the bad quality camera. Maybe in future phone models it will be possible, why I don't get is why don't the stores use the same cards. They dont have to share purchased info just the info you filled out when you sing up. That way one card for all...
