Re: EVDO/GSM While ActiveSync'd

O.K. I think I may have fixed mine, steps:

1 .) When adding your device profile to ActiveSync check the box to allow advanced network / internet calling.

2 .) Uncheck the box in ActiveSync (File, Settings) that says "Allow Connections to One of the Following" "COM1"

3 .) On the device, go into settings, connections, usb/pc connection settings, ensure ActiveSync AND Enable faster data synchronization are selected.

4 .) On the device, go into settings, connections, connections, manage existing connections, Advanced, select networks, and ensure that
"Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:
"<network provider, for me "Verizon Wireless">
"Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using:
"My Work NetworK"

This worked for me on EVERYTHING EXCEPT OPERA

P.S. - If you're unable to deselect the checkbox in ActiveSync settings to not use COM1, disable faster speed in phone usb/pc settings, delete phone profile, re-add, and uncheck, then disconnect re-enable fast speed, and re-enable profile.. I know it sounds weird but it's what I had to do. Let me know if this works!
