+1 Handcent works well. Tied to tts its even more powerful! The voice recognition on all phones has been useless for me haha. I have to make a point to b very clear and pretty loud.

I installed the TTS and quickly uninstalled it. The voice creeped me the hell out! 
I wouldn't use it anyway. I think the SST is way more useful, IMO.
My Dad uses voice recognition on his Mogul and looks like a fool when he does because half the time it never works so he has to do it 4 or 5 times. I always remind him that he could have done what he's trying to do 10 times over in the time it takes him to speak his command properly. |
Haha it is weird, but coupled with speaking pad I use it to cuss at people for humor haha. My gfs dog will do what it says like get the ball or sit hahaha.
