Just an update. I tried using it again, and unless i hold the phone as if i was on a phone call, ASR doesn't even come close to what I'm saying. Even if i do hold it that way, it's still spotty.
Quite honestly, I probably won't use it anyway, I am just curious as to why it's not picking up what I'm saying at all.
On the other hand, using the speech to text function in Handcent works pretty decent and will get used very frequently by me. |
+1 Handcent works well. Tied to tts its even more powerful! The voice recognition on all phones has been useless for me haha. I have to make a point to b very clear and pretty loud.
