I would say leave it on the USB for like maybe 1 hr. If it doesn't work, that wouldn't be a good sign. Depending on how long you are there can you get a charger shipped to you. Maybe from Telus? I could be totally wrong, but If you are there for a few days I would find one and get it shipped quick.
