its diff on the touch. if you use the touch keyboard and start typing a name in the TO: feild you will notice that a lil bit above the touch keyboard it will start giving you suggestions and if you hit the d pad right it will go thru all possible options based on what you started typing. The touch ketyboard also goes to the abc mode when you are in the TO: field so that it is easier for you to put in names. hope that helps
