Okay - So I had some hack time this weekend - I think I'm getting close - but still no joy.
I loaded the AKU3 bits from Verizion/UTC (APA_Verizon_31430_314208_14300_WWE_Ship_2.exe) onto my Apache. It was a downgrade, since I had been running the VerizonGuy Build 4. But I'll do anything to get the data interface to my Tomtom working!
I also did the ##FEATURE trick and enabled both BT DUN and WMODEM.
Now the Tomtom and 6700 don't have any problems pairing and exchaning directory and/or making calls (the hands free speaker phone works GREAT!) but I still can't get the data interface to work. If I use the parameters listed above, i.e. Username: mobile#@vzw3g.com (your 10-digit number)
Password: vzw
DHCP-auto and DNS-auto
Number to dial #777
Logon Script left blank.
It fails when it tries to connect.
I'm so close - I'm sure someone out there has the fix I need. Should I go back to Verizion Guy #4 or the Helmi build and enable some other feature?
