Some programs will only operate if on the phone's main memory (device) but to keep as much flexibility with the device for the future, I keep any programs that can operate from My Storage on My Storage. For the most part my experience with third party apps that are required on the main memory are in the minority, say 20% or less. I always try to load a program to My Storage first then check functionality, if it works then it stays.
