You can check for this by using a task manager included with the stock HTC Sprint ROM for WinMo v6.1 on Vogue, not the task managers that are easy to get at, but the one in your \Windows\ folder named taskmgr. There's also a shortcut named TaskMgr, and both have a sort of graph icon with green colors. Tap either to get a true listing of all running apps, as well as ability to stop any. Most importantly in your case, the Menu has a View option that'll allow you to see what Processes are using what percent of CPU activity.
