3.5mm jack not working.

Interestingly enough, my 3.5mm headphones jack isn't working.

I have tried plugging it in while music is playing via S2P and Windows Media Player, and when music isn't playing, both of which does nothing and sound continues playing through the speaker. I wonder if the "loud speaker" hack broke the 3.5mm jack?

This leads me to believe one of the following:
-It is controlled by software (or Windows Mobile) and a setting I unknowingly changed or registry entry I deleted caused it to stop working.
-I have a defective phone.

I haven't tried hard resetting yet, because I have done so much already to my phone and it is kind of a pain in the ***. However, If I can't figure it out, it looks like a hard reset is what I will be doing to see if that remedies the problem. Although it isn't that big of a deal because I have bluetooth headphones (which work fine), it would suck to know I have a defective phone considering I thought mine was perfect (no dead pixels, or build quality issues). That and using the 3.5mm jack for external speakers or in a car would be nice.

Anybody else experiencing this problem?
