If you are handy with a registry editor you can make these changes:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\ TRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000001
Otherwise you need to build another ROM and this time do not put a checkmark in the "Unlock ExtROM" checbox in the "Carrier Customize" section of BuildOS.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the tip. If I build with it hidden, is there a) a way to later unhide it through similar regediting or other method and b) is there a reason I would want to? That is, what can I do with an unlocked extrom?
