i have a sprint TP and gave advice up top... i ntoiced OP said setup advanced config and hit "X"... you have to hit done, then say yes when it prompts you to soft reset...
advanced config changes almost always require a soft reset for changes to fully take place, thatd explain why the new softkets showed up, but didnt go where u wanted
