Plus, it's funny that you're still going through Assurion. I am on my 3rd XV6800 since the day it was released (the last replacement came last week), and I've never dealt with anyone other than Verizon, and I surely haven't paid any sort of deductible.

I didn't know there was such a "holier than thou" sentiment here. I ripped off no one. I did not lie. I really did need replacement for the 6700 and 6800. The first time all I said was something like "could I get a 6800 instead, as this is already my third 6700, and I had nothing with trouble with it." The second time, last month, I tried three times and wrote a e-mail to corporate.
If you want to blame anyone, blame corporate for caving in.
As for why I still go through Assurion, because it gets results. You are on your third 6800, when you could be on your first Touch Pro. I was on two 6800's, and didn't want a third. I wasn't going to buy a TP even if they didn't give me. Either they, Assurion was going to send me a replacement for my broken 6800, so why not a TP?
