Hello everyone and thanks for such a warm welcome - i'm sorry i've been away from this forum for a while... but here are my thoughts about my phone - using it now a couple of weeks down the line...
I had LOTS of issues and hard resets....initially... problems with alarms not going off and other such niggling issues. I now have it stable and I found most applications that I wanted/needed as a work around for the lack of phone feature support in WM5...only problem is that running this many applications chews up battery and seems to slow the beast down...but that apps i found have propelled me forward and in turn has made my experiences with this phone much richer. So now, I've got things working much better as a phone.. i'm so much happier with my purchase. Again I thank Kris for his wonderful calling card program (i posted the link below).
Funny thing though..... i said i wanted to purchase a PDA that is a phone... but have found myself using it alot as a games machine (whoops)
didn't see that coming. I'm enjoying playing Quest on PPC, as i was a HUGE fan of Legacy on the P910i. I'm slowely discovering its the PPC's riches and i am enjoying it more than i first did by over 200%. thankyou so much for your support and welcome.. I'm converted... now, if i can get SMS threading going... i'll be the happiest Australian/Canadian camper, this side of the US.
