Thanks - I tried he SD trick step by step
Formatted microSD on my computer as FAT32
Copied VOGUIMG.NBH file to the drive
Inserted the drive
Pressed power and camera on my phone while using the stylus to reset
Comes up as Serial even though no cable is plugged in
I pressed every button on the phone and it wouldn't try to run the update from the SD.

I did however use it to run the update from my computer when I plugged in the USB.

I would like to figure out the microSD technique though.
