If you are trying to get your computer to recognize the device from the boot screen, that isn't going to happen.

Try pressing and holding power and camera button while using the stylus to reset, this will load the boot loader and your computer should recognize it from there to do the flash from the PC.

To do a flash from the SD card your SD card needs to be formated to Fat32, and the usigned.nbh has to be renamed to VOGUIMG.NBH, then you would do the same proceedure as above to enter bootloader mode, the device will detect the image file and ask you to press a certain button(don't remember which one I think action button) to flash.
