I personally use remote desktop from my phone and I don't mind it but if you use uTorrent at home, it has a decent web UI that you can access from anywhere and queue up your downloads. Once it is setup up you can save a favorite in your phones browser and just launch it from there, there is no app install necessary! Hope this helps!
