PPC Phone w/ Bar Code Reader?

Does anyone know if such a beast exist with CE or Mobile? Right now I have a 6800. It does about everything I need it to do, except scan bar codes?

I have an app that I use for work that sends a small file over the internet to the server at the home office. That part works fine, but it would be nice if I could scan the numbers instead of keying them in.

Right now I'm using Verizon as the carrier, but it would worth it to change carriers if need be.

Wow, thanks for the link. I never thought about using the camera as a bar code scanner.

I'll give that a try if I can't find a laser scanner.

I thought you were looking for an app. btw, it doesn't work the best with the 6800's camera, and only ok with the tp's.

so you were looking for a actual phone/ppc with a scanner in it? good luck, their available but very expensive. and ugly/bulky

I have a flic bluetooth scanner that I don't need anymore if your interested.
it worked great with my mogul when I had the need.

The blue tooth scanner sounds like a good idea. It might be the best way to go.

The MC 9090's we use in the our warehouses are almost $2K each. $1200ish. isn't too bad for these barcode reader/phone/pda hybrids ...if it does what it is supposed to do.

I found a couple of links that I'm going to look into. They're not the best looking phones but it looks like they'll done the job. Thanks for the help.

fyi, made sure your carrier will let you activate them on your account type.. they may require a business plan.
