Sprite backup

I have sprite backup, i backed up my touch with a custom rom & when i got my replacement touch i put the same rom on my new phone the sprite restore errors out. any suggestions?

Dont do it man, just restore your contacts only and install your apps one at the time, it will bug your TP out if you try RESTORE on a different ROM from the original..is it the exact same ROM w/o any changes?

i've had sprite backup do that before, luckily i had another backup a day before it that worked... have u tried a different backup file?

I had the same problem with Sprite.

I have purchased both Sprite & SPB Backup. Neither one is perfect, but I have had far more success with SPB so that's all I use now.

i had the same problem when restoring using sprite backup on a different rom but also when i tried to restore to the same rom. I recommend SPB backup...i even had problems when using PIM backup...nothing is perfect out there but just make sure you back up the contacts on your computer before trying anytime type of restore

I too love SPB however I now have Resco as my number 1, try it. With Resco you can just update your existing BU, instead of full one it backs up only the difference which can be 2 min oposed to 10 or so

Is that a seperate app, or part of one of the Resco apps I may already own??

I have the KB, the Explorer, the reg tool etc etc
