Angry EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED with PHM REGISTRY EDITOR!!!

Okay, I realize that it is most likely me doing something wrong with this program. I'm no PPC Wizard like so many of the others on this site. I've been trying (for 2 years now) to do some registry edits on my Mogul. I understand how to get to them, how to change/delet them, but I just have one annoying little problem....

THEY NEVER STAY THAT WAY! I swear to GOD, every registry edit I perform just reverts back to it's default state. The only thing everyone keeps telling me is to wait a few minutes before performing a soft-reset... Okay, I've tried that (literally) more than 100+ over the last 2 years, and it never makes any difference. I got used to not being able to make any changes, but now the TouchFlo Cube thing is available on here for my Mogul, but I need a registry edit to make it work the way I want it to....but it JUST WON'T STICK...

Does ANYONE have ANY advice?

-Touche'

p.s. I've also searched (which I'm not all that good at) and I couldn't find anything about this on here. I even googled it, but to no avail...

After every registry change you have to wait at least 1-2 minutes before you reset your PDA. This has been discussed many times.... Good luck!

Yeah, I just tried it again, and no luck. I've seen it discussed about 28346239846 times, and they all say what you just did... However, it has NEVER worked with me. I have to be doing something else wrong. It didn't work with my 6700 OR my Mogul, and they both have/had different proggies on them, so I don't think it's any specific program that I'm using...

*sigh* I guess I'm just going to haver to give up...

Make sure you are closed out of PHM completely after you finish with your reg edits. Then hit the power button and let it sit for a minute or 2. Power up and reboot and see if your changes stick.

Pressing the power button should force the changes to write to the registry. Waiting a minute or 2 is just a precaution which you could probably skip if you wanted (I do).
