I read sometime this year. Whenever that is. You know how SPB is with announcements. they'll just spring it on you. Sad but v5 looks really great and I can't wait.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5

Tried SPB MS, but it seems to have caused a faster battery drain vs TF3D. Otherwise I liked it.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5

Well, I tried it again - love Sense but it just eats up memory like there's no tomorrow. This time I also installed Mobile Sense that gives MS Sense-like clock. Don't see the battery drain being any worse this time. I think I will end up buying MS.

Did notice a few quirks though. If anyone knows how to fix them please tell !

1. The weather icon doesn't update for the time of the day. It's always sunny even at 11pm. Also it seems there's no way to set the weather to show current GPS location.

2. The calendar widget would not show free time / all day appointments. Even though I have both options checked. But when I click on it and get the "expanded" calendar view in MS (whatever it's called) they do show.

3. Tasks can be sorted by due date but the date is not shown.

4. There's a limited # of fields in contact view and they seem to be preset - SMS, MMS and 3 phone #s. So if the contact has more phones you need to use something else. Not a biggie since I have iDialer mapped to phone button.

But anyway, the more I use it, the more it grows on me. It's a very powerful utility. And it uses less memory than Sense.
