Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)
You guys are greedy! Definitely a good thing because we've got some sweet things in store. Within the next few weeks you'll be able to upload media from your computer to the dashboard. Things pertaining to the mobile aspect include optimization for different sized phones (resolution, photo strip organization, etc), uploading pics straight to social networking sites, and you can do all of this through the manual sync (not exclusively through auto anymore). As stated, this stuff is coming soon. Not quite time to call for the drum roll but we're cookin up some awesome ideas.

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)
Dashwire, may I suggest in the next release to have the sync items separate from photos and videos. I currently have a lot of large video files that are dvd movies, and I really do not have the need to sync them to dashboard. Would love to see separate items for photos and videos. Thanks.

syrguy, I meant to say that I want to sync photos only, but not videos. I am hoping in the next release it will have photos and videos separately, as I have gigs of video that I don't see the need to sync to the dashboard.....

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)
Aha!!!! OK....I understand now!! I don't have that problem for some reason. I found that any photo or video files stored in folders created by me do not sync to Dashboard. I have three folders I organize my pics into, and only one syncs...the folder created by the device for camera files. I had to move the images I wanted synced from the other folders into that one. Maybe you can use the same theory....create a new folder named something like vid or stuff, and place a new video file into it. At the nect sync, see if it went over.

Our software is designed to take stuff from the folder on your phone created by the device for photos/videos. What syrguy1969 is suggesting should work. Smart move
