Trying to turn off screen turning on when buttons are pressed

Hello all. This may seem like a stupid question but since I've upgraded from WM5 to WM6 the checkbox under Settings, Backlight where you can have the backlight turn on or off when keys are pressed isn't there anymore. I'd like to be able to turn this setting on again so that the screen does NOT turn on when I touch the keys. I assume there's a way to do this.
Thanks!

mvourlias,
(Assumining you're talking about the Apache since that's the latest WM6 upgrade).
I don't remember the old stock rom, but on the latest WM5 rom there is no such setting. As a hint, if you don't want the backlight to be on while you are talking on the phone, you can turn it off using the on/off button without disconnecting the call. This has the side benefit of disabling all screen buttons so you don't do unintended things with your ear. Also at any other time, pressing and holding the on/off button will turn off the backlight while leaving the device awake.

Thanks TMB. I didn't think the setting was anywhere. I thought I was going crazy. I have been hitting the power button to do this. It's the best thing in this case. Just trying to keep the battery alive. Thanks again for your suggestion.
