Disable New Message Pop-up's?

Is there a way to disable the New Mail Message notification pop-up on the Today Screen via the registry? I ask because I could not find the answer by searching, and turning off ALL notifications doesn't seem to eliminate it.

Verizon Treo 700w 1.10
Using EAS

Thanks!

You should be able to disable the pop up notifications in the notifications settings. Did you try from Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications ?

Different poster than the OP with the same question/problem.

I myself HAVE turned off all notifications (audible and visual) for new emails, but I STILL see the new email popup every 15 minutes or so. I'm assuming there is a registry key to disable this, but have not yet found it.

I will be watching this thread with interest...

I have the same problem. I have disabled notifications for e-mail and still get a popup when ActiveSync receives a new mail. Since I never read all my mail and have 700+ new mails in my Inbox this message pops up ALL the time.
