Delete the word "Start"

Does anyone know where in the registry that I can go to delete the word Start from the task bar. The windows icon does the same thing and I want it to look cleaner. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

I don't think you can. However, SKTools allows you to change the color of the text, if you match it, it will basically not show up.

I think his goal is to create more space. The word START is taking up about two icon spaces. Just another bad Microsoft decision.

I think that's a great question. Unfortunetly I don't have the answer either. I'll run a few searches and see if I can find the answer. If I do, I'll post it. Who knows, maybe someone will beat me to it.
