HTC Imagio/Whitestone TV/Video Out?

Does anybody know if there is a regedit to unlock the tv/video out feature locked by Verizon? HTC shows the model has tv-out, but Verizon must have locked it. I bought the cable, but can't get it to work. Apparently the HTC TouchPro II has tv-out, but I really like the camera and slim feel of the Imagio with WM6.5.
