I get this message after soft reseting my phone using OC3 script.

"Shortcut Target
Error opening the shortcut
or locating the target filename."

Am I doing something wrong?

sounds like you created the shortcut to the script in your windows/start folder improperly.

go into your startup folder, delete the shortcut you created.
using file explorer, browse to the script, click and hold on it, select copy. then go back to your startup folder, click and hold on the screen, hit create shortcut.
reboot.

Do I remove the semi-colons?

I put the .lnk file in my StartUp folder but should it go in the Start Menu folder along with the netripper v2 shortcut?

no do not remove any semi-colons.
you do not need a shortcut in your Start Menu.

did you install Netripper's v2 program?
did you install Mortscript?

When I click and hold on it what option do I pick?
I get:
Send via Bluetooth
Cut
Copy
Rename
Delete
Send......
I had created the shortcut on my computer before I transfered them to my memory card and then left the original there and placed the shortcut in the windows/startup folder because I could not find a create shortcut option on my phone.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I did not realize when you click on copy it then gives you the option to paste shortcut. Thanks for your help!

Yes I installed both Netripper's v2 and Mortscript. I also copied the oc3 shortcut to my windows\startup folder and rebooted. Nothing changed.

The instructions said "not to" use netripper but to modify the actual file. So there's where I am confused. With my VZW TP2, do I have to modify the file if those are the settings I want or can I use netripper after all to overclock?

EDIT: After following the instructions, should netripper show the new OC setting? Mine still shows 528.

hey bud, you should not use netripper to modify your OC values, but you can open netripper to see your current speed. if it is showing 528 then something isnt setup properly.

use a task manager (dotfred) and check if MortScript.exe is running.
the other thing you can try is clicking on the OC_Auto3.mscr (manually running it) and then check netripper and see if you are OC'ed.

since you dont have this working and are a bit unsure of how to change speeds - you might want to check out OC_Auto4.1 as it comes with a GUI for changing speeds.

I got mine to run at 710 successfully, I was pasting the 4.1 gui shortcut into the windows/startup

instead of the 4.1 mcr, duh
