Thumbs up iPhoneUI - An iPhone shell for Xperia X1

Hey!

I've been working on a project for the last month and it's looking pretty good now. It uses the 480x800 resolution and is at the moment only working properly (design) on the Xperia X1 device.

What is it?
iPhoneUI is a shell for the Windows Mobile system. It works on the Windows Mobile 5, 6.0, 6.1 & 6.5 systems.
It is maximized which means that this will "overwrite" your booring original windows homescreen.

Notice
*You can change the icons which are shown in the first mainmenu page. Go to Program Files/iPhoneUI/settings.xml to change...
*It uses 6.5 mb RAM!
*Please give me feedback and suggestions on what i should add to the application.
*If you like my work, please be generous and donate a few bucks to support my work
*This application is adjusted to work with Xperia X1 but it works as good with the HTC phones.

Instructions

1. Go to my website (http://www.chabbeclub.tk) and choose Xperia X1 Applications. Then choose iPhoneUI and press download.
2. Download the files from my website.
3. Install (if not already installed on your device) the dotnet.cab file.
4. Then install the latest iPhoneUI build which is being updated weekly on my webpage.
5. Soft-Reset device and then you're good to go!

Latest Changelog
*ALL NEW CODE WRITTEN fOR THE APPLICATION!

*Added Systemstate for missed phone calls, sms and mails

*Added multi-pages (3)

*The application now searches your phone for installed software automatically and then shows the icons on the multi-pages.

*Fixed slide problems where you could press everywhere on the form and move the slidebutton

*Changed the clock to automatically change format depending on where you live.

*Added more functions

*Removed annoying splashscreen

*Improved the design.

*Improved transpability

*Changed cab setup

*Added timer that is set to 50 seconds, after that the application will automatically go to lock screen.

**The unlock form is yet not completely a "lock screen". I'll fix this till next release.

**I'm facing problem with the mutli-pages, they work on the device simulator but not on the xperia x1 device. I'll fix this till the next release.

**I'm also facing problems with the slidebutton and slideani.bmp... If anybody knows how to fix this, please send me a pm.

I thought the same thing and then finished reading his post.

However, it does not really work well yet.
As some features still don't work, like swiping pages.
While it is a good start, it has a ways to go yet before its usable. IMO.

Nice work anyhow, even if I am tired of the iPhone UI.

Hi!

All the features works with the HTC phones. You said that the swiping pages doesn't work, which is TRUE because i haven't yet added that function. Hopefully i've answered that question. SO, all the functions work properly, but the lack of functions on the other hand is another thing.

I'm open for suggestions on what to add. I'm trying to add the swiping pages feature but it's harder than it looks.

Best regards

You be the judge.

This is an early alpha release and I'm working to improve it every week. All i know is that both ifonz and iphonetoday are closed projects...

In the future release you will see slidefunction (to slide between pages) and many other great functions...
