Looks like I'm going back to stock (from CM9)

Sucks, my Epic has everything installed on it that I need, but the headphone jack stopped working. I also have a ton of problems with the Sprint Network.

1) calls not coming through
2) calls ringing only once
3) SMS randomly getting held for days and then coming in a wall-of-texts
4) MMS sitting in "sending" state forever until I send another one to that same person and they all go through
5) MMS not downloading, then getting stuck in the "downloading..." state but never come through.

I called up Sprint and they basically said there was nothing they could do. The last time I complained about these network issues, they just wiped my phone a bunch of times and I had to go through 4 different refurbs before getting one that wasn't broken.

Re: Looks like I'm going back to stock (from CM9)

I had the same problem on CM9. I had tons of random texts finally go through one morning at 6am days later that I had sent over the course of a couple days. I had a lot of confused responses. My phone showed them go through. I guess people were only recieving some of my texts.

Its not a cm issue. Sprints network is still jacked up for most.

If you want to charge your phone faster I suggest using a power only wire and connect to the outlet. The fastest way though is external battery charger.

Re: Looks like I'm going back to stock (from CM9)

I've been on the EL30 Sleeper Rom for months and months. No problems whatsoever. Smoothest and most trouble-free rom I've ever tried. Performance and battery-life are great.
A new FC09 Sleeper version came out this week, which I'll try out in the immediate future. Also people are getting some joy out of the FC09 People's Rom. Both are available on XDA. Probably better options than stock.
Just sayin'.
