How do you wipe memory on an Epic

Sold my Epic and want to make sure there is nothing on this phone that points back to me. It's running stock un-rooted 2.2 and I want to get everything I can off this phone.

What I've done so far is took out the SD card formatted it, and then copied 16 Gigs worth of movies and files on it then reformated it and copied again and reformatted it.

I have the MSL and I can remove my phone number on it but was wondering if there was a way to wipe out the internal memory outside of the system files and the best way to reload froyo on it without using ODIN.

I was thinking using the Active Sync Exchange Wipe feature first, then dock the phone as a USB drive and fill up all available space with movies and files, then factory data reset from the phone itself and copy the movies and files one more time and finally factory data reset again?

Is there a better way then this?

TIA

Re: How do you wipe memory on an Epic

Why would someone go through all the trouble to wipe the memory clean? Do you think someone that purchases the phone is interested in seeing what used to be on the memory of the device?

I'm just curious.

Because I run an IT Department at a college and this phone has been paired with my network/domain. I try and take no chances with security that may compromise my professional work or name. That's why I have 2 of these phones, one to root and play with and one to administer my network with, I just can't believe I sold this phone for $300. Now if only the Nexus Galaxy would come out I'd be really happy.

Now granted if it was just some old flip phone or never touched my work domain, I'd care less...
