im on the beta gingerbread and maybe thats the problem but whenever i hot my home button it brings me to a d iff screen than i want. i put all the widgts on the center screen after hitting the home screen button to make sure itll go back to that and then soon it willl take me back to the scren before the center when i hit the home button. ive even tried to change to tjhat screen but then it goes back to the center screen. is there a conspiracy here. should i call mel gibson?

What launcher are you using? Some launchers have a setting that determines which screen it should default to (if any).

do you know how to set and change the home home screen?
pinch to zoom on any of the 7 screens and it will bring up small icons of each screen with a button to set the one you want.
im sure you already know this though.
