Calendar issues...

After upgrading to froyo the calendar became more useful. This behavior is drawing me away from every 3rd party app that tries to replace it... What do you guys think of the calendar... Any issues so far...or things you wish to see added?

Well if ya ask me... I had a glitch once and I was trying to change a regularly scheduled appointment from friday to saturday...if I hold down with my finger on the event I cant drag it to the next day... the edit only lets you change the time (not the date) so I end up deleting the Friday event including all the occurrences and I created a new one for saturday and repeat occurrences. This is a pain in the ass...

On the palm pre:
webOS lets me open the calendar, hold the event down with your finger and drag it to any day or time...then asks you if you want to repeat steps for all occurrences or just this one event. Piece of cake...

Edit: Can the Epic do the same...?

Yes... Have you tried it yourself? Maybe it would be more useful to you if 2 kids a family, work, and school, and a personal life schedule. All 5 calendars in one. And I haven't flashed that many roms lately. I'm not into custom roms for their looks for their under volting or overclocking abilities While I don't mind these excellent features... I'm less prone to flashing and more into productivity. I've been sticking with DJ29 4.2 for it has worked for me so far with the least FC and less lag. I backup regularly. And If I see a rom worth Flashing, I would but that depends, I based my decisions on forum reviews and Dev's reputation.

Re: Calendar issues...

I had a problem with my calendar running the DK05 Froyo leak, but the DK17 update fixed it. That's why I didn't bother to post anything because its no longer an issue. And I posted it in the ROM thread, so I just kinda figured posting it here too was redundant.

That's good to know. Thanks for posting!

Edit: so this is the one you meant? http://www.sdx-downloads.com/devs/noobnl/dk17kernel.zip

But I'm not going back to the DK05 Froyo leak... No Hotspot.
