[Mod] ReEnable/Disable Journaling CWM Flashable No Format or Wipe Needed Instant
This can be a helpful tool to Enable or Disable Journaling on your EXT4 rom of choice.
I personally prefer Journaling ON for better stability. Now, thanks to chris41g, you can simply flash either zip from CM3 to instantly make the transition. Just Like the title says, flash this zip to re-enable/disable journaling on ext4 ROMs instantly. No backup/restore needed. No wipe or format needed. Just flash the zip, reboot 3 secs later journaling is on/off... enjoy. ReEnable Journaling Disable Journaling

Re: [Mod] ReEnable/Disable Journaling CWM Flashable No Format or Wipe Needed Instant
yes but 1 you can't turn journaling back on that way, 2 this is three seconds not a few mins.. 3 you don't lose all your other format flags and i/o tuning parameters this way...
Its still a good idea to have a backup on hand though.. I made this as a better, faster, cleaner method... |
