Lockup while charging

Has anyone else had an issue with the Pro locking up when charging?

My battery has been holding out quite well throughout the day (compared to my old 6700).
At the end of the day I charge it.

The last 2 days When I go to get it off the charger the dpad is lit up solid white, not flashing. But when I try to turn the phone on it doesn't respond.

A soft reset doesn't turn it on either. I have to hold the power button down after the soft reset. Then it's totally back to normal.

The only other odd thing is that after the reset it still wasn't fully charged. It was perhaps 80% charged as though it crashed before the charging was complete. (even though it had been plugged in overnight)

It's almost a totally stock instillation too. I just setup exchange contacts & calendar, imap email, and installed 1 ebook reader. The only auto update's I turned on were weather, Faster GPS, and the exchange data.

Angry TP locks up during sleep / charge

This is the 2nd night in a row now that I wake up to a locked up TP while charging overnight. The only way to wake it up is a soft reset or pulling out the battery. The only thing that has changed between the nights it didnt freeze and the nights it is freezing is that i've enabled the alarm.

My first TP never froze but was pretty much unusable due to the blown speaker sound. This new one is perfect except I keep waking up to it frozen. For as long as I can remember I've used my cell phone as my 5:55AM alarm for work. This is bad...very bad. Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine did it on the first charge, and has been fine thereafter. *knocks on wood*

I have not tried a hard reset yet, but I plan to. I read on xda-developers just now that a hard reset only buys you some time but it reverts back to freezing. Some people were able to remedy it by removing TF3D....which negates a major selling point of this phone.

Re: TP locks up during sleep / charge

Mine has locked up twice. Did a hard reset on Sunday and so far, so good. *fingers crossed*

Well, after I got in the house from work, it was locked up. Had to soft reset twice. *sigh*

Re: TP locks up during sleep / charge

I did a hard reset yesterday morning and it wasn't locked up this morning. Not sure if that was the solution, but I will keep you posted.

Re: TP locks up during sleep / charge

My TP did it for the first time last night. I charge my TP face down otherwise the glowing light bounces off the ceiling and keeps me awake.

I left the house and noticed the round button light was solid lit, Screen black, no response.

Pulled battery out to reset it. I hope this is not a trend.
