big3etr - I used the Colonel Rom which I'm pretty sure is based on the same firmware. I won't have time to play today but maybe this weekend I'll give that one a try.

While I can't promise a date on the fix personally or that the MR will fix the BT - it comes from the Sprint Buzz about Wireless site admin that their is a fix "scheduled" for 10/26 - http://forums.buzzaboutwireless.com/....id=1649#M1649

motorola s9 help

I just got a s9 and the sound quality is good. I have 2.09 rom and bt works great with reg tweaking.
I have a problem though using s9 with coreplayer and TCPMP. the play/pause, next/previous buttons on the headset don't work. they only work with media player.
anyone knows how to make them work with TCPMP or coreplayer?

another annoying things is audio is turned off under vibrate mode. when I am using a headset, I hope the device audio on but the phone on vibrate. any way to do that?

Thanks!

I have a Mogul and my bluetooth sucks. I had a Motorola H700 and then bought a nXZEN 6000. They both don't work right.

I called HTC and they told me that they were not contracted to support the phones. We have to call Sprint. Basically, all the Sprint users have to call and complain. He also told me that if Sprint Users got a petition together, that would force them to acknowledge there was a problem and fix it.

The only solution is for Sprint to come up with an update to fix it. He didn't think it's a hardware issue.

I'm very dissappointed that the firmware "fix" sucked so badly - I can't believe they "finished" the firmware Sept 7, then at the end of October they release a "fix" that f's up more things than the old version!

Can we update this thread with success/failure reports of BT headsets working with the 2.17 ROM?

I'll start:
Logitech Mobile Freedom --- OK for short phone calls in a pinch. Works considerably better than it did with previous ROMs, but outgoing voice still a little choppy and distorted on the other end. Incoming voice sounds fine.

GlobatSat BTH-820 -- Very good stereo audio quality, but phone call quality is about the same as the Logitech above.
Does anyone have a BT headset that did not work well with previous ROMs but works excellent with 2.17?
