(7/21/08) Ghettofreeryder v720 rom - 19591, Rev A, GPS, fullQWERTY,Opera,RSS Hub

I used the link on first page rom directory I see two files 720 and 720 good. I do not see 720c

1 - Can you remove the telus branding from the phone app?

2 - Can you make it so it changes the default bootup logo back to just the HTC logo twice?(the default bell HTC animation would be cool too) I am using the telus radio and I hate that telus boot logo.

Other than that looks good.

The phone infact is also recongnised as Telus Touch ... I guess cuz of the underlying Diamond from Telus

i love that its fast but is there any way to remove the 1% battery increments? On the first post i thought you said that it was 10% increments? People have noticed there battery drains much quicker with the 1% increments and i as well. Thanks for the help

I have tried EVERY ROM out there. Some give a improved GPS performance on my Verizon 6900.

Your latest "C" version gives me locks in my house in less than 1 minute. Outside virtually instantaneous!!

I tuned your ROM with the registry entries "I've been told it's very dangerous to use another carrier's prl file. I finally got locks in seconds this afternoon, after making a couple of changes. First, in the registry I changed the SUPL AGPS/ServerIP value from 95.207.101.126 to 172.25.8.100. With that change I noticed that I picked up more satellites, but still no lock. (I have an extra non-sprint vogue that I've been experimenting with so I was able to compare my xv6900 with the changes to the alltel without the changes). Then I added the files that I've attached in the .zip file to the Windows directory. Once the files are in \Windows, just click on 1_SP_AllowCertificateInstall.cpf and 3_SecurityOff.cpf. With 2_SdkCerts.cab, click on it and it will install itself. Soft reset. After that I had locks instantaneously on the device, whereas with the other that I hadn't made those changes, no locks. These files were posted on ppcgeeks shortly after the alltel upgrade, and worked to make the gps work. Obviously use at your discretion, but I've not had a problem."
