Can't seem to flash..UMDL doesn't detect..

This is weird, I start UMDL, turn off the Allow USB in Active sync, select the bin and hit Detect, but when I connect the phone and turn it back on it doesn't detect it...the phone just uploads like usual...

Re: Can't seem to flash..UMDL doesn't detect..

i was having the exact same problem like 20 minutes ago. i uninstalled then reinstalled active sync and then it worked. dont know for sure if that was the problem but it worked so im assuming it was.

Re: Can't seem to flash..UMDL doesn't detect..

Might just be a driver that is getting removed some how and reinstalling active sync is reinstalling the driver you need.

Wirelessly posted (Omnia i910: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; Windows CE; Opera Mobi/9.5; U; en) VZW:SCH-i910 PPC 240x400)

I don't think you can disable it with the newer versions of 6.5, if you want to disable it because of HTC task, you can't. I use showcase suite, it does the same thing.
