Three day Omnia owner with major issues

My screen went white today after I diabled my samsung dialer, and now my phone is paper weight. I only had it for three days now, and now I can use it. Can someone tell me what might be the problem and is it a cheap and easy fix, thanks

Re: Three day Omnia owner with major issues

Try this: with your phone off...

1. Poke the soft reset hole beside your power button(Poke and Release)
2. Press and hold the Call and Cancel Button together(Do it immediately after Step 1)
3. Do not release Call and Cancel button, the Samsung Omnia Screen Appear
4. The Reset Screen will appear as below

Press Call to Format or End Call to Cancel.
You have to ensure you Prese the Call and Cancel button at the same time when the Samsung Omnia splash screen appears so that it will bring you to the Format screen.

Good luck!

Re: Three day Omnia owner with major issues

Once you get the format screen to come up like pictured above you'll just need to press the "Call" button on the lower left. If that doesn't do anything then I would call your carrier and explain that your phone just stopped working and they'll probably replace it. Good luck!

Re: Three day Omnia owner with major issues

should not need to reflash the phone on a hard reset it just brings it back to when it was last flashed

Re: Three day Omnia owner with major issues

Thx my phone is working now, one more problem, I did my first cooked ROM flash before I could get my wap working with Cricket settings, if anyone know about phone flashing from say Veriz to Cricket, here's my problem. After I flashed my phone with adryn rom 3.0 vanilla my phone is no longer detected under modems or ports in the device manger, and samsung pst will not detect. I need samsung pst to detect so I can load my wap or web setting into the phone. Now if someone can tell me how to wipe the ROM flash and go back to stock so I can flash my wap I can do it. But now if I flash back to the cook ROM will it erase my wap settings from Cricket? Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm new to this site, thanks
