If that's the case, why wouldn't they just swap you out with a new moment? If this is a known issue but doesn't effect every single moment, they should replace it, no?

Re: Google Navigation

they are i am replacing it one last time, then if it is still the same (cause it will be my 5th moment since nov) then i will switch to the evo when they restock them since they are sold out go figure

Yes i do keep in it my lap when driving, this should not stop your gps from working. me and my wife drove to sprint (about 18 mile drive) both of our gps on ( hers is a pre) and hers was spot on the entire way sittin gin her lap. Mine couldnt hold a signal and even lost signal for more then half the trip until i pullled in the sprint parking lot and it popped on to tell me i had arrived. go figure lol

i am really hoping im just getting bad phones, the cl14 update was suppose to fix our gps update according to teir 2 tech support. and even that lady had a moment and said hers works great.

should be in tomorrow ill let yall know cross fingers =)

Re: Google Navigation

well got my new moment today. So far gps doesn't work at all =( it has 1.5 on it so im going to update it to 2.1 but it has the cl14 update on it and that was suppose to be the fix from samsung for our gps problem. I am convinced that this is a hardware problem, even though i know most of you say yours works fine. So i will just save up my 199 next check and probably go to the evo. This is my 5th phone in 7 months all for gps problems

Re: Google Navigation

I've yet to try it on my Moment, but it works WELL on my EVO and Hero! They are gonna destroy TomTom and Garmin with this.
