I called my local Sprint store yesterday.....The sales rep told me that his district manager just informed him that 2.1 should be released within the next week........I don't swear by it.....But, that is what I was told...

I reflashed my phone to CL14 and looked at Settings>About Phone>System Updates and Update Android was there

I'm not saying that the OP is incorrect I'm just saying that what Shady said was true too

One should never say a statement like "nope it wasn't" without knowing for sure that it never was


Now time to flash back to a custom root kernel

I just got mine at the sprint store about 4 days ago with CL14 on it and it had the Update Android on it as well.

yea the update android option been on since the cl14 update. there was a thread back in january about it.

Mine has also had that option since the CL14 update.
