are you talking about the samsung drivers? if so there is a direct link in the wiki. I'm using w7 64 and worked for me fine.

ya me and flyers both tried for 2 days now but they(pc) wont stick. its the abd one thats killing me. no idea wtf is wrong but im almost at my end with it and its the reason sprint gave me free hotspot for 3mnths. not sure why its a w7 issue but i didnt complain but i wanna root.

I don't want to use my laptops internet connection. I need to use the sprint internet to connect my laptop.

Does easy tether do that?

I use my computer at work and they don't allow consultants laptops to access their wireless service.

So what I want to do is use my phone as a hotspot and connect via the phone from my laptop.

Or would it be easier to just pay the 29.00 to sprint to do it?

yes you can usb tether with that app or pdanet and you dont need to be rooted.

Are you getting any sort of error?

also maybe you have adb already running? check the task manager

You an use Android-Wifi-Tether to make a hot spot..but you need to be rooted..easy tether is for usb tethering.

adb isnt there error, changes from time to time. 103/43/45
when i try to run pdanet exe on pc is mostly where the issue is. debugging all that is on. easytether no go too.
