I like waffles. I've waffled between 3.3 and 3.5. 3.5 is the latest and greatest and 3.3 was the most stable. With the recent developments, though, I'd say why not go 3.5? If the bugs are truly fixed, then I see no reason why someone would want 3.3.

i'd a posted the masses a new kitchen tonight, but the blasted netcf is a pain.. I can get contacts to work properly ONLY if i burn netcf2 to the rom. If I leave netcf out completely and then try to install it from cab, contacts dont work. If i leave netcf1 in, and install cab, still the contacts dont work. I replaced the GAC files to the other OS packages, and put netcf2 on as OEM.. it works.. but no cobination that netcf2 is loaded other than an OEM makes it work.

I will prolly post a package anyway that has what i have.

Can we get ImCoKeMaN to weigh in on this? It looks like we're going with 3.5, but I would like all of the Dev guys to have their say.

lol.. i worked with him last night and we had a sidebar chat. I can assure you he STRONGLY leans towards 3.5 especially now. He's out for the day, actually gonna try and repair his phone. So i would place all money on him going 3.5. Snicker but of course.. He was the dude to drag the rest of us down that patch..

And lordy do i like it now w/ the smart-dialer.

I'd almost rebuy this phone w/ this rom. Oh wait.. I didnt buy the one I have..

Snicker..

Just a thought/reminder, I was impressed way back when Wideawake "UPXed" Rom files and hope that may help make this rom more efficient as well.

Gladly awaiting upcoming testing

Not sure what you are having issues with. The files to fix IDTransfer and Live Search are not part of .Net CF. PM me and I can help.

Just to make the official note. Sfaure03 was right, i'm all for going with 3.5 at this point and it was my hope that my first post of 3.5 would lead others towards it and improvements for it. Now that we got this far I think with this team and the support from the community we can squash just about anything that this AKU can throw at us (hope i don't have to swallow those words later )

Do we have a place to consolidate all of the bugs discovered and what the fix (if one exists) is?
